A south-facing canyon-rim ridge site on the north rim of Big Chico Creek canyon, run by the City of Chico. Flies best in a south wind at 5-15 mph, roughly March-October; north/canyon winds are unflyable. You need a City of Chico paragliding permit (signed at Public Works, 965 Fir St) and must coordinate with the site administrator. Beginner/intermediate-friendly in light south flow.
