Terms of Use

These terms cover the Wonderwind app and website (wonderwind.app). By using Wonderwind or creating an account, you agree to them.

Every call is an estimate

Wonderwind turns public weather forecasts into a call for each flying site. The forecast reads a nearby gridpoint that can differ from conditions at launch, and the models are sometimes wrong. You are the pilot in command. Check the sky, talk to local pilots, check TFRs and airspace, and fly within your rating. You fly at your own risk.

No warranty

Wonderwind is free and comes as it is, with no warranty of any kind. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from using it or relying on it.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what gets posted from your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Delete account) or by emailing us.

Reviews

Reviews are public, so keep them about flying and about the site. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. That means no harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam or other people's personal information. A word filter stops some of it before a review posts.

Reporting and blocking

Any signed-in pilot can report a review or block the pilot who wrote it. A reported review is hidden right away, before anyone looks at it. We then read it and either put it back or delete it. Pilots who break these rules lose their account. Once you block a pilot, their reviews stay out of your view.

If these terms change, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
