NW-facing thermal/XC launch in the Tehachapi/Cameron area on the SW edge of the Mojave. Works best on NW, with N and W going cross. Tehachapi Pass is one of California's windiest corridors, so the prevailing W/NW flow funnels and accelerates and can blow out fast - fly moderate conditions, favor calmer mornings, and watch for lee rotor if the wind backs off-axis. Confirm rating and access with local pilots first.
