The old High Lonesome flight park is closed - flying now happens as tandem operations on the private High Lonesome Ranch, so any access needs their permission. Punchy thermals and midday overdevelopment; a big density-altitude penalty means you keep launch wind light. Morning and evening glass-off are best; watch for lee rotor off the surrounding cliffs. Intermediate+.
