Thermal/XC launch on Icicle Ridge above Leavenworth, facing E/SE and working on NE through SE flow. It's a hike-in (about 45 to 60 minutes with gear) to a committing, canyon-influenced launch, so advanced skills are recommended. Expect strong thermic lift and turbulence near the launch trees, and stay well clear of pre-frontal or gust-front conditions. Best midday to afternoon spring through fall; access is via Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
