Isolated 14,134 ft summit (officially renamed Mount Blue Sky in 2023), flown opportunistically as an early-morning sled or speedwing descent before valley winds build - not a maintained club site. Access is via the seasonal Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway (summer only, gated, fee and timed-entry reservation) to the paved summit lot. Expert, fair-weather morning site only: watch for fast-building thermals, severe leeside rotor off the surrounding 13-14k ridges, and afternoon thunderstorms. Confirm launch legality locally before flying.
