High-desert thermal and XC site above Lakeview at about 6,250 ft, part of the Lakeview free-flight cluster. Launch faces roughly SW/W and works best in SW-to-W wind. Typical day: light southerly morning, strong thermic midday, more westerly late, then a smooth evening glass-off that's the prime window. Big XC potential — an Oregon PG distance record was set from here. Watch strong midday thermals, valley wind, lee rotor if it backs east, and high density altitude. Intermediate-plus site; coordinate with Lakeview-area hosts.
