Desert thermal/XC site (~6,000 ft, ~1,800 ft vertical) run by the Desert Skywalkers, aka Lower Potosi. Two launches: an NE/E-facing front that works in easterlies and an S-facing back for southerly winds — 5–12 mph is ideal on either. Rotor is a known trap here: wind curling over the peak can feel up-slope from the wrong side, so verify true wind direction before launching. One of southern Nevada's best XC sites; best in winter and the shoulder seasons. High-clearance vehicle helps on the dirt access road; experienced thermal pilots only.
