Top of the range for paragliding (any rating). Switch wings up top to compare. Hang gliders hold roughly 10 mph more than paragliders.
Low west-facing coastal bluff on the Pacific shore at Half Moon Bay, a light ridge-soaring spot. Needs steady onshore WSW-W flow; too far south or north goes cross and unsoarable. Eroded gullies cut into the bluff funnel and speed up the wind, giving strong but tricky lift near the gully walls. Land on the beach below (watch the tide) or on the bluff top; overpowered above the low-20s mph.
