The wind must blow from within this arc. Direction is the same for both wings.

Top of the range for paragliding (any rating). Switch wings up top to compare. Hang gliders hold roughly 10 mph more than paragliders.
Cliff-side launch just south of Jasper in the Buffalo River / Ozarks region (the 'Grand Canyon of Arkansas'), not a high peak. Grassy inclined slope to a bluff line, with trees flanking launch and a road right behind it. Primarily a thermal site with XC potential, ridge-soarable when the wind faces the bluff from the SSE/S. Watch for lee rotor if the wind backs to N/NW. Arkansas cliff sites generally require P3/H3 and a $1M liability policy — verify locally before flying.
Borderline only 4pm–6pm — best around 8am: 6 mph W, gusts 11. All borderline — fly it with a close eye. Outside the window, light enough for a sledder.
🌅 Wonder windGlass-off possible 4pm–6pm — smooth, light SW ~10 mph (a touch cross), clear evening sky, the day heated up well.
✓ Light, smooth wind– Edge of the window– Wind dying off into evening✓ Clear skies (radiative cooling)✓ Day built a thermal layer
