Thermal mountain site in Mt. Nebo State Park managed by Buffalo Mountain Flyers, with three launches. The NE (Visitor Center) launch works in NE wind (30-60), the East launch in E (85-95), and the HG-only South launch in the S. Ideal 6-10 mph, max ~18, low gust tolerance (~5 mph). Fly early before the NE slope shades over; expect strong sink in the valley between launch and the LZ. Requires P3/H3, $1M liability insurance, plus Visitor Center registration and daily sign-in.
