Top of the range for paragliding (any rating). Switch wings up top to compare. Hang gliders hold roughly 10 mph more than paragliders.
Panorama 'PG Point' near Talihina, a Buffalo Mountain Flyers site facing E/ESE. Ideal wind is straight up the slope near due E, roughly 45-110; north-ish flow adds turbulence right off launch. Paragliders want about 7 mph ideal, 12 max (more for advanced); P2s need instructor clearance and smooth sub-8 mph wind. Watch boulders near the launch, and note the LZ is a 'hot' thermic one with strong sink outside it — non-P4 pilots should avoid landing in midday thermals, and top-landing is P4+ only.
