Top of the range for paragliding (any rating) — switch wings up top to compare. Hang gliders hold roughly 10 mph more than paragliders.
NNW-facing Blue Mountain ridge near Danielsville, ~950 ft AGL, managed by the Water Gap Hang Gliding Club under NPS permit. Ideal wind 325-360 at 10-15 mph; blowback and LZ turbulence build once winds move outside that arc. Hazards include powerlines near the LZs and Allentown airspace east of launch. Carry-in 3/4-mile hike with ~500 ft climb. H3/P3 minimum (H2/P2 only with high-site experience and radio supervision), no first-highs, and a site monitor must be present.
