SSE-facing slot launch on the Appalachian Trail near Roseto, ~650 ft AGL, run by the Water Gap Hang Gliding Club under NPS permit. Ideal wind 125-185 (best around 150 at 8-12 mph); PG max ~15, HG max ~20 before tree rotor. Shallow slot launch prone to crosswind rotor; the slope has briars, poison ivy, snakes and bears. Advanced/experienced-intermediate only, a site monitor must be present, max 2 flights/day, designated LZs only. Periodically closed until the LZ fields are harvested.
