Atlantic east-coast beach/condo dynamic-soaring site at Deerfield/Boca Raton. The beachfront runs N-S and faces due east onto the ocean, with the line of beachfront condo towers acting as the soaring "ridge." Works on a steady onshore easterly sea breeze: pure E (~90 deg) is the sweet spot, with NE-through-SE all usable (matching the paraglidingEarth NE/E/SE octant hint). More northerly (NNE) or southerly (SSE) winds go cross to the condo line and are marginal. Best in a clean, established sea breeze from mid/late morning through sunset; light morning air is popular for ground-handling practice. Hazards: rotor and mechanical turbulence in the gaps between and downwind of buildings, the narrow usable lift band, the fishing pier, power lines, sunbathers/beachgoers below, and gusty/thermic conditions that make the lift broken. Hand-tows are used by locals when wind is too light to soar the condos. A small, experienced local free-flight community flies here (informally led by long-time pilots); not a formal regulated USHPA site with posted ratings, so treat as advanced/experienced-pilot, local-knowledge terrain. Specific club site-guide numbers were not directly accessible (Florida Paragliding Club page is login-gated), so speed/direction figures are inferred from the site geometry and general beach-soaring norms.
