A remote Cascade Paragliding Club thermal/XC mountain near Yacolt (~3,425 ft launch) that usually flies in NW wind, with W and N as the cross/edge directions. It is thermic rather than a ridge-soaring site, working best in light-to-moderate NW flow, and turns on late — punchy small thermals earlier, best productivity toward late afternoon. Considered an unforgiving advanced site: high surrounding terrain, few escape routes, complex thermic LZs with stumps and brush, and spotty cell coverage. Road closures have pushed parking lower, so expect a long uphill hike (roughly 1,200 ft) to launch.
