True 360-degree drive-up launch at ~11,700 ft MSL with four distinct launches per the CUASA (Central Utah Air Sports) site guide, so usable wind covers essentially all directions. Per-launch IDEAL arcs: North 315-45 deg (GR 6.0), East 70-110 deg, South 160-200 deg, Southwest 210-240 deg (all GR 5.5). Acceptable/marginal ranges extend to: North 300-60, East 50-130, South 130-220, SW 190-270 deg; the only weakly-covered slice is roughly W-NW (~270-300 deg). Wind speed limits (knots, converted to mph): P3 min 0, ideal ~6 kt (7 mph), max 12 kt (14 mph); H3 min 6 kt, ideal 12 kt (14 mph), max 15 kt (17 mph). Gust spread limit ~5 kt (6 mph). HAZARDS: primarily a MORNING site -- east-facing high-altitude slopes mean thermals start very early and can become turbulent quickly; do NOT launch after noon due to strong up-canyon valley winds and glide-out danger. Rapid cloud buildup signals dangerous gust fronts/hail. SW launch must clear an eastern ridge or risk being forced to top-land; canyon landings are hazardous ("If in doubt, head out!"). LZ ~6,100 ft MSL. ACCESS/RATING: P3/H3 minimum (P3 requires supervision), 5.5 minimum glide ratio required, miniwings not recommended, USHPA + CUASA membership mandatory. A locked gate guards the last ~1-2 miles of the 4WD road; need a key from a local CUASA officer (contact in advance) or park at the gate and hike. idealDir/marginalDir set to full 0-359 to reflect the true-360 nature of the site.
