No site-specific wind-window data found in any authoritative source. Searched USHPA chapters (Bozeman/Missoula clubs), club site guides, paraglidingEarth, XContest, Wilder Adventures launch list, and pilot/trip reports — Beartooth Pass is NOT listed as an established free-flight site in any of them, and Montana flying guides list only Mt. Sentinel, Hogback, East Ridge/Butte, Waterloo, M Trail near Bozeman. Arc inferred SOLELY from the paraglidingEarth orientation hint (working octants E, SW, W, NW). Because those octants are non-contiguous, this is likely a multi-aspect high-alpine plateau with separate launches: the cleanest contiguous cluster faces W (SW->W->NW) so the ideal wind FROM arc is set to ~225-315 deg; an E-facing launch (hint includes E) extends the marginal edge. HAZARDS / CAUTIONS (high-elevation inference, NOT site-verified): launch sits at 9754 ft MSL — true density altitude is extreme, wing performance and sink rate suffer, conservative wing loading and longer takeoff runs apply. Strong alpine thermals and valley-wind convergence build fast by late morning; best/safest window is early morning glass-off or late-evening smooth air, avoid midday over-development and gust cycles. High terrain means lee-side rotor and venturi/compression through the pass are serious risks if wind is off-axis or above ~15 mph base. Roadside pull-off access along the Beartooth Highway (US-212) but the highway is seasonal (typically open late May to mid-Oct only). Speeds/gust ceilings are conservative generic high-alpine PG estimates. TREAT AS UNVERIFIED — confirm direction arc, legality/access, and conditions with local Montana/Wyoming pilots (Bozeman Airforce or Missoula HGPGA) before flying.
