High-altitude Sangre de Cristo launch (>10,500 ft) with an E-to-SE aspect near Villa Grove. Expect thin air, strong midday thermals, and quick valley-wind reversals; morning cycles or evening glass-off fly best, and midday overdevelopment and storms are common May-August. Any westerly synoptic flow risks lee-side rotor. Undocumented - verify the launch, access, and rating with local RMHPA pilots before flying.
