Alpine thermal/XC launch above Snoqualmie Pass (~4,455 ft), facing roughly SW-W-NW. This is a light-wind thermal and cross-country site, not a ridge-soaring bowl — best mid-day in summer, with big XC runs toward Leavenworth on record. Watch for the military training route overhead (fast low jets), strong turbulent afternoon thermals, and lee rotor on any E/NE backside flow. LZ is near Lake Keechelus.
