CCHPC (Central California HG&PG Club) site guide gives explicit numbers: optimal wind S-to-W at 3-8 mph, gusts to 12; max winds 12 mph with gusts to 15. Launch is a grassy ridge-top area (4,075-4,100 ft MSL) that slopes lightly down to a rocky cliff face; faces roughly SW/W/NW per paraglidingEarth orientation. Best flown morning and evening glass-off in summer; mid-day and XC flying in summer is for experienced pilots only (strong thermals/turbulence). Regulated P3 site (P2 OK with approved sponsor); USHPA membership + current Tollhouse site fee required ($80/yr or $30/mo) and CCHPA/CCHPC membership for P3/P4. Site intro required. Access needs 4WD with clearance. LZ is a large, slightly sloped grassy field at ~1,900 ft MSL with power lines bordering it, but enough room for figure-8 approaches. NW winds (310-315) are at the cross/edge and trend toward the W orientation limit; S (180-200) is the cross edge on the other side.
