Coordinates (35.2282, -93.2551) match the Northeast / Visitor Center launch at Mount Nebo State Park (Dardanelle, AR), per the Buffalo Mountain Flyers (local club) site guide. This NE launch works in 30-60 deg ideal (NE-facing slope with bowl/drop-off behind the Visitor Center). Ideal speed PG ~6 mph / HG ~10 mph; max usable ~18 mph (PG) to 20 mph (HG); gust limit 5 mph. Hazard: a deep dip near the top can unload the glider in light conditions. Best time is earlier in the day before the easterly/NE slope shades over; evenings are recommended for pilots unfamiliar with the site or lower-performing wings. Note this is a multi-launch site: the East launch (85-95 deg ideal, 80-105 acceptable) and the HG-only South launch (160-210 deg) cover the broader E/SE/S octants in the orientation hint. The site is primarily a thermal mountain site with some ridge soaring; severe sink can be found in the valley between launch and the LZ. Access: P3/H3 minimum rating, $1M liability insurance required by Arkansas, daily sign-in at the Visitor Center plus annual registration/release forms.
