A committing cliff/ramp launch on Chandler Mountain, about an hour north of Birmingham near Horse Pens 40, ~750 ft above Beason Cove. It faces SSE and works on a south-southeast wind (roughly 160-185) around 10-15 mph, with about 10 miles of soarable, top-landable ridge — strong XC days have reached Tennessee. Rated Hang 3 / intermediate, and the cliff launch is no-step-down. Watch for lee-side rotor if the wind veers off the arc or builds past the high teens.
