SW-W-NW facing ridge (~8km long) above Upper Klamath Lake; works in W flow, with the W-facing core (W) being ideal and SW/NW being the cross/edge margins. Both thermal and ridge soaring; flight can be extended southward along the ridge under good conditions. KEY HAZARD: wind can increase very quickly here and wave/lee-wave conditions form over this terrain (watch for wave/lenticular formation and rapidly building speed = lee-side rotor/wave hazard). Launch ~20m from a narrow paved road used full-width by logging trucks: do NOT park on or near the road. Launch difficulty medium; landing at Hagelstein Park is large and very easy but do NOT land in the high grass. Best in calmer thermal/soaring windows; bail if wind builds or wave appears. Access via Hwy 97 / Hagelstein Park entrance. Speeds inferred from soaring-ridge orientation, not an explicit club guide.
