RMHPA site on Hwy 139 between Loma and Rangely, launch 8,800 ft on private land flown with permission. Launch faces SW; the club gives the arc in degrees (ideal 180-270, okay 160-280) and holds PG to 0-15 mph with a 5 mph gust factor. P3 minimum, and RMHPA lists high altitude and turbulence as the required skills. The LZ is 1,000 ft long and slightly downsloping, fenced at the north end and ditched at the south, and its winds switch unexpectedly - especially in the evening - so arrive with the height to read the windsock before committing to an approach.
