A west-facing mountain launch north of Ramona near Palomar, run by SDHGPA. Works in SW through NW at 5-10 mph ideal (max 12 PG / 17 HG). The launch is tight, nested in pines. Landing in the valley below is forbidden and will cost you the site permit - you must glide to the Cross Roads LZ up on the mountain. H3/P3 minimum, SDHGPA membership plus a gate key and site-rep coordination required.
