A 14-mile north-facing desert ridge near Vantage/Mattawa overlooking the Beverly Dunes ORV area — a rare winter/spring/fall ridge-soaring site that flies in moderate N to NNE wind when little else works, and thermals as an XC site too. The huge Beverly Dunes flats give an easy LZ and top-landing is common. Desert mid-day air can get sharp and is dangerous for newer pilots, so fly mornings, evenings, or winter, and mind blow-back behind such a long ridge in stronger north flow. P2+ in the right conditions; USHPA membership required and the launch is private under a Cloudbase land-use agreement (donations encouraged).
