Long N-S ridge northeast of Emmett (Squaw Butte) with a steep east face and gentler west slopes, primarily a thermic site. The west slopes are the usual soaring face (WSW-WNW); a separate launch on the east side works on east flow. Forecasts here often disagree on which way it'll blow, so check live winds before committing to a side, and note that straight N or S doesn't work. Strong midday thermals, a loose rocky summit, and lee rotor when wind opposes your face. An established XC objective from Horseshoe Bend.
