Top of the range for paragliding (any rating) — switch wings up top to compare. Hang gliders hold roughly 10 mph more than paragliders.
Edgewater Park in Cleveland is a Lake Erie shoreline cliff-soaring site, the launch faces north over the lake, so it works on onshore N through NE (and NNW/ENE) winds; SW is offshore and dangerous, avoid it. A classic good day is a NE wind around 15-18 mph with a little thermal mixing, smooth rather than gusty, best May-August with roughly 50 flyable days a year. It's an experienced-pilot site: P3 rating and a local intro/sign-off are required. Launch and landing are at different spots along the shore, with water on the lift side.
