Faces S (SSE–SSW); soarable mornings & late afternoons, turbulent midday. ⚠️ NEW: the "Vista" 4-story apartment/condo complex went up across from the South Side LZ — it throws rotor onto the landing zone in a S wind, worst in the very direction the site needs. Plan your approach accordingly. Also: blow-back to the wires/quarry behind launch; E wind rotors off the SE hills, W wind rotors in the west bowl. State rec area, P2 min.
