High-alpine XC launch off Hidden Peak (~11,000 ft), reached by the Snowbird tram. West/NW-facing and thermal-driven, with high cloudbase and long cross-country potential. P4 and by permission only — not a casual launch. Watch thin-air launch speeds, punchy thermals, afternoon overdevelopment and thunderstorms, and canyon rotor/venturi in Little Cottonwood. Coordinate with UHGPGA and local pilots.
