West-facing thermal launch above the Provo 'Y' on BYU land. Works on a NW-to-SW wind, ideal around 8-12 mph, best in the smoother late afternoons. Hike-and-fly only up the steep ~1-mile Y Trail — no vehicles. Two sets of transmission wires cross between launch and the Kiwanis Park LZ; the Bigfoot LZ is permanently closed. P3 plus USHPA + UHGPGA membership; get a local briefing first.
