East-facing mountain launch above Saratoga Springs (~7,600 ft), reached by a rough, rocky 4WD road; the east side is P3, with gentler N/S training hills lower down. Primarily a morning thermal site — fly before midday valley cycles and afternoon overdevelopment make it rowdy. It soars well on an easterly and on a north wind funneling down the valley. Watch for leeside rotor if the wind backs west behind the ridge. Grassy LZs on both sides.
