Top of the range for paragliding (any rating). Switch wings up top to compare. Hang gliders hold roughly 10 mph more than paragliders.
Coastal-valley ridge and thermal site near Tillamook, launching out over the valley toward the Wilson River. Flies best on light-and-variable days, and pilots note a southern component helps; straight W tends to turn into a headwind and go cross. Less technical than nearby Kilchis but still an intermediate site (Cascade Paragliding Club) — get local guidance. A strong afternoon sea breeze can overpower it.
