ParaglidingEarth lists it as the "Dominguez Canyon Afternoon Site" with wind orientation West (strong/primary) and Northwest (moderate); orientation hint also includes N. Best wind FROM the W through NW (~280-320 deg), with marginal/edge conditions extending to WSW (~250) and toward N (~350). Cliff launch described as "not great for beginners, can get strong" - a P3/intermediate-and-above thermic site; expect afternoon valley/anabatic flow building from the west and thermal cycles. Speed ranges (ideal 8-15 mph, base limit ~18, gust ~22) are inferred from the "can get strong" warning plus general PG cliff-soaring limits; no club guide with explicit numeric thresholds was found. Hazards: high-desert thermic turbulence, possible lee/rotor if wind backs south or overdevelops, and committing cliff terrain with limited bail-out. A separate "Dominguez Canyon Morning Site" ~3 km away works on SE/S/SW (opposite cycle). Verify on-site conditions and access (Dominguez-Escalante NCA / BLM wilderness adjacency) with local RMHPA pilots before flying.
