West-facing cliff launch off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Wintergreen (Raven's Roost Overlook). A boulder-field, hop-off-the-cliff launch with no run room — high commitment, best for P3/H3+ pilots comfortable in light air. Flies best in light W to NW winds; strong thermals can climb well above launch. Small valley LZ with fences, livestock, and a creek. Avoid easterly (over-the-back) or strong cross conditions.
